What is the deal with dogs and vacuums? My last dog, Heidi (a miniature schnauzer) hated the vacuum with a passion. She would try to attack it every time we ran it. You could just hear her say 'I'm gonna get you'.
Lucy, on the other hand is very grieved when I run the vacuum. She looks at me as if I have betrayed her trust. As if I have broken some sacred rule. She moves from each area I vacuum as if it is breaking her heart that I would do this horrible thing to her. I suppose she'll forgive me if I go give her a treat!
